Commissioned Performance Vest Delivered!

During the summer months I’ve have the pleasure of collaborating with poet Golda Solomon on a performance vest.  Golda recites her poetry to live jazz and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to design a garment for her featuring her favorite jazz artists, important aspects of her life, and  her inspired words.  Read Golda’s work and view her performance schedule and resume on her website, www.jazzjaunts.com.  I delivered Golda’s painted, collaged and quilted vest yesterday and she is thrilled with the results.  This was my first commission work and I’m very pleased it turned out so well received.  Enjoy the photos!

And some shots to see the work…
